I wandered upon this old rig on a dog adventure in the woods. It is a 1941 GMC tow truck, and the last of it's large kind until after World War ll. The craftsmanship that went into building this truck still shows. A beautiful work of art I found in the woods had incredible presence, and soul, and the colours! The owner, now in his mid eighties told me he parked it there in 1969, after he lost the transmission, and that he never got around to fixing it, and he still wishes that he did.
