This reference is from my family slides that my Dad and I went through a couple of winters ago. It is my Grandfather Clarence and my oldest brother at the Peter Pan Restaurant in Charlottetown from September 1963. The first time I saw this image I knew I had to paint it. As a boy while Dad was at sea, my Mom did not drive, so it was my Grandpa who would take us kids around. My Dad remembers this horse and cart ride as the first of its kind on Prince Edward Island,  
and that my brothers could not get enough Five Cent Fun.
