 An original black and white photo reference from P.E.I. circa 1940, in a series I did with Island Historian David Weale celebrating rural life on Prince Edward Island between 1900-1960. Such a sustainable way to fish these gems of the sea, and thankfully it still the only legal method of harvesting oysters on the Island today, by hand.
